I guess my friends and roommates had an "intervention" for me. It was... awkward and interesting. I guess showing that they cared and etc. I won't be able to hide in my room and sleep all day anymore and keep up with some bad habits I've had for a while. Hopefully this actually helps out.

Warcraft: Another Point of View

Yeah it sucks, but I could not sleep and photoshop is hard enough to use as it is. :p

In other news. I packed all of my stuff into boxes and threw away pretty much everything I was taking. Of course once I was done throwing everything away, my d ad tells me that he just wanted me to throw away the stuff I really did not want, and apparently I could have stuffed a bunch of it into boxes or something? Either way he was being kinda a dick about it. I really hope all of that stuff fits into y fooms. I have a ton of boxes packed with things I am bringing to the dorm.. moving in tomorrow mornings.

Went to see Snakes on a plane last night with some friends. It was a lot better than I thought it would be. I was expecting it to be awful, but they had to go and ruin that by making a movie that was decent. I am not really a huge fan of seeing people die horrible deaths, but it was still pretty good. Liked seeing some of my friends before I leave. Of course I am still going to come back to have lunch with/visit some of them anyway. I will only be about half an hour away and my roommate brought his car with him.

So I was really impatient and dumb and impulse buying that I went and got a macbook. I had some savings bonds from my grandparents. So I could afford that and books definately. Although I did not technically need the macbook. My stepmom had given me an old Dell Inspiron 9200 to use for college. And hey, it is alright, but I really wanted a mac. I even bought Mac OS x a while ago and wasted the money on that because I could not use it. Bad idea. So anyway.. I was also going to get a desktop as well as the macbook, but I decided to wait a while. Which is good, because I would be almost completely broke and poor if I got both the desktop and the macbook.

So it turns out my dad is really pissed at me for getting the macbook. I had talked to him about it a couple of days ago, and he said I was kinda dumb but it was my money and whatever. I guess he had talked it over with her and she got him really riled up or whatever and pissed. So now he says he is not going to help me out with paying for anything. I have no tuition fees because my dad is a disabled vet. And he got me a loan for the dorm fees. It is everything else he is not helping me pay for. Ie: bicycle I will need to get around, a fridge, a tv, books, anything else I will ever need. So I am on my own. I guess it is not really that big a deal, but it is so effing retarded that I have to give her laptop back. The macbook is a completely different machine.

I packed all of my stuff today.. but I do not get to move into my dorm for a while. I did get my room assignment today. Emailed my roommate but have not heard back from him yet. I wish I could just move out now though. The only place I would be able to go is my grandparent's... I just hope I can convince my dad not to be a dick and overreact. Although he could just be using this as an excuse to not help me pay for stuff. I can do it on my own.. I have about $2,000 left. And I am really needing a job once I get to IU. I am going to get one either way.

Edit: I am not trying to sound spoiled and whiney by saying my dad is not going to be giving me any money.. I just think it is dumb that he flipped out and yelled at me and refuses to helpe me out because I spent my own money on something that while I did not need it, is still useful. Especially considering my sister spent her money on romance books and fairy statues and he did not do this to her.

Woo.. Friday was my last day at work for at least 5 months. I am going to be comming back for holidays.. but next summer I am definately going to find another job. Yesterday morning was my dad's wedding. I was an usher.. had no idea what was going on but I guess it went okay. After I loaded his suitcases into my stepmom's car, I thought I had locked the keys in the trunk.. just when we were about to drive out to her house to get another set, I find them in my pocket. fun times.. around noon I went to downtown columbus to do my community service at the Block party.. big ole event with some bands and other random entertainment. I had a few breaks throughout the day. stopped in at the kidscommons to see people from Japanese trip. Talked to sensei for a bit.. whee... I went home once to change clothes because it was freaking hot and they were all sweaty.

Most of the day was just boring, walked around a lot, picked up some trash, not that there was much. Changing the bags later on sucked because some of them had holes in them.. got a lot of beer spilled on me that night. So pretty much the alcohol vendors were supposed to stop selling alcohol at 10pm. But they did not stop till almost 11. And they were selling it to the people who were doing community service with me. I was technically in charge of them but they were twice my size. So I was working with drunks for a few hours, up until a little after midnight. I guess I was dumb and said some stuff to myself that pissed them off, so they yelled and got pissed at me, so I freaked out really bad and avoided them the rest of the night. I mean, I guess I am kinda a coward and whatever.. but I weigh 130 pounds and have never gotten into a real fight before.. But walking away is the right thing to do anyway.. so whatever... But the staff for the event were really nice, especially since I helped them out by being there all day to do whatever they needed. Finished up my community service hours.. woo.. never have to do that again..

So for the next few weeks I have no responsibilities. sweet. well, I do have to feed my dogs..

So.. uh.. freaking out because I have like 19 hours of community service due in a little over a week. Or I pay a $500 ticket and get license taken away. Sweet.

When I grow up, I am going to have a successful relationship that lasts more than a month or two. And I am going to learn when to keep my mouth shut. I am going to learn that there are some things that are better not to say anyway. I am going to behave responsibly in the workplace. I am going to actually exersize, and cook actual meals so I do not spend all day sleeping because of lack of nutrition that is cause my sheer laziness.
